RN Nurse Supervisor

The RN Supervisor oversees the day-to-day nursing functions of an assigned area to include supervising the Certified Nursing Assistants and providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physicians and in accordance with standards of nursing practices and regulations.


Responsibilities:
- Supervise Healthcare on day to day basis.
- Oversee late admissions.
- Assuring completeness of medical records.
- Ensuring continuity of patient care.
- Participates in performance improvement activities.
- Supervising interviewing, hiring and orientation process.
- Follow-up on incidents assuring proper documentation.
- Participation in employee management, mentoring and disciplinary procedures.



Qualifications:



  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.

  • Experience in Nurse Management or Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.

  • Capable of maintaining regular attendance.

  • Ability to supervise other employees and work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives.

  • Meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
