Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Coordinates the Medical Quality Management and Performance Improvement activities to measurably enhance the quality,process and cost effectiveness of patient and customer service rendered. Coordinates the Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Programs in accordance with the guidelines and regulatory requirements of Federal and State regulations on a hospital -wide basis. Oversees operations of the Infection Control and Employee Health Programs,develops and reviews policies and procedures to insure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards. Reviews clinical practice and works with staff to find the best strategies or solutions when concerns arise . Collects data to monitor compliance and /or trends.Oversees the Medical Quality Management, Performance Improvement , Provision of Care Programs, CQI and the Infection Control Program on a hospital -wide basis.
The position is based at our West Orange campus with travel to Saddle Brook and Chester, New Jersey campuses.
Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, (Master's Degree preferred), a NJ RN license and previous relevant hospital experience in Quality Improvement with Statistical Process Control Experience;proficiency with computers and demonstrated familiarity with accrediting standards, including federal, state, TJC and CARF desirable. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
