Position
Summary:
The Highlawn is looking for motivated, personable Event Server to join our team at one of New Jersey's most celebrated restaurants/steakhouses.
The server is responsible for promoting and ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment and guaranteeing only the highest quality products are being served.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
Anticipates guest needs, ensuring constant communication with colleagues, management, and the kitchen during service Ensure guest are serviced within specified time Check tables throughout service times for customer satisfaction, resolve guest complaints Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards.
Must be considerate, patient and willing to help out fellow employees Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety
Qualifications:
Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality Must have strong customer service skills Ability to communicate with members of the kitchen and dining room teams Desire to learn and grow Commitment to excellence Positive attitude Ability to work well within a large team Excellent personal presentation Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Pay Type:
