This role is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in our auditing department.
You will be responsible for managing and conducting comprehensive audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and providing innovative solutions to clients.
This role requires a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute comprehensive financial audits in accordance with GAAP and other relevant standards.
Identify and assess areas of significant business risk, design and perform audit procedures responsive to those risks, and report issues identified.
Review financial records, statements, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with laws and regulations.
Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
Contribute to the development of the annual audit plan, considering the risk assessment and input from the team and stakeholders.
Develop financial models to support audit activities and decision-making processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of auditing experience with a CPA firm.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP, audit processes, and financial reporting.
