This person will be responsible for all activities related to project construction administration, including reviewing submittals and shop drawings, field observations, reports and change orders.
Position Description:
Possess a degree in architecture, engineering or construction technology Maintain and oversee the contract administration process on more than one project with emphasis on efficiency, timeliness, quality assurance and risk management Evaluate necessary changes in construction documents and implement changes needed.
Review field conditions and issue construction sketches to resolve issues quickly Participate in project status meetings with General Contractors, Construction Managers and Owners Conduct on-site observations, prepare and issue field reports Coordinate with the architecture/engineering team to ensure project completion is in compliance with contract documents and specifications and meets all regulatory requirements and building codes Review submittals and shop drawings Obtain, process, document and maintain records relevant to a project, including but not limited to claims, change proposals and change orders, request for information, correspondence, payment application, contract documents, and other related documentation Minimum 10 years related experience in construction administration and coordinating with project consultants/clients Candidate should have strong design and technical skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communications skills Candidate should be proficient with AutoCAD and Bluebeam Revu, REVIT/BIM and other related design software.
Familiarity with primavera/procore software preferred Job Type:
