This person must have experience working as a medical receptionist and or front desk clerk, in a healthcare environment.
Must have a friendly outgoing personality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Scheduling, rescheduling and confirming appointments.
Checking in patients upon arrival Arrange transportation.
Professionally handle requests and ensure issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
Communicates clearly, concisely, and positively with patients and clinical staff.
Obtain necessary authorizations for procedures or office visits Confirm appointments with patients Answer phone calls in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
Check insurance eligibility to confirm correct insurance information.
Collect copays as needed.
Requirements:
Authorization experience required.
Customer service experience required.
Front desk in a medical environment, required.
Basic computer skills, required.
