The Aquatics Manager is responsible for working side by side with the Customer Experience Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of British Swim School's regional locations.
The Aquatic Manager oversees all Aquatics trainings, implements all policies and procedures as communicated by the Aquatic Director and is responsible for promoting and growing British Swim School within the region.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ensure that assigned locations are operating smoothly and in accordance with British Swim School policies as detailed in the British Swim School operations and Teaching manual.
Ensure that all staff are abiding by BSS guidelines.
Training all new instructors to teach BSS methods and to monitoring the ongoing training of all staff to ensure that all teaching standards are being maintained.
Creating and developing new, innovative and fun techniques adding variety to lessons.
Regular follow up and coaching to existing staff to introduce new teaching ideas and improve skills.
Responsible for the hiring and training of new aquatics staff.
Liaising with site managers to ensure that information is disseminated to all site staff.
Provide sterling service to all BSS customers, developing lasting relationships with parents and children.
Attend all required meetings and trainings.
Report on a regular basis highlighting areas of strength and weakness, suggesting possible solutions and implementation programs.
Responsible for staff and patrons' adherence to safety rules (Rules of 3, facility safety guidelines, etc) Train, coach and continuously develop the swim instructor staff.
Train new swim instructors Set clear expectations, hold team members accountable and provide regular constructive feedback to each team member on their performance.
Monitor arrival and departure times as well as overall behavior of all staff at the pool.
Hold accountability conversations with all pool staff who fail to meet expectations in all areas except customer experience quality (which will be done by the CEM).
Inform the CEM about issues in swim lesson quality observed.
Responsible for communication among staff in regards to:
All attendance matters, disciplinary actions for not following protocols.
Assigning office hours to staff members:
Office hours will be 1-2 hours before or after a shift dedicated to handling parent communication In the case that coverage is needed and can not be provided by any other swim instructor, the Aquatics Manager must act as coverage.
Assist Director of Aquatics in implementing new programs.
Analyze current policies and procedures and identify possible areas of improvement, in which all pools can be more productive, more efficient, and more highly regarded Handle payroll duties via WorkForce ADP, every pay period - once teams are assigned Other responsibilities as assigned by Director of Aquatics.
Knowledge, skills and abilities Detailed knowledge of all BSS operations and teaching methods Demonstrated leadership abilities Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems Knowledge of modern office procedures and able use a personal computer and various software packages Ability to multi-task, establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision Special Requirements Willing to be flexible as required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
