Scheduling patients using our Practice Management system.
Must have excellent phone and communications skills.
Check eligibility for active insurance Check for refrrals and authorizations, if required.
Escorts patient to and from changing rooms & PACU Takes vital signs, enters into the EHR Cleans operating room after procedure with approved cleaning supplies Assists RN with post-op care Gives nourishment to the patients post-procedure Removes sutures Escorts patients to transportation Stocks & maintains supply closet Distributes outside receivable Assist in maintaining a clean & safe work environment Disposes of Biohazardous waste according to OSHA standards Must be BLS certified.
